voting booth OFFICER

Leading up to the event we’re going to be running battles between the best comics and video games on our Facebook page. The voting is going to culminate in one FINAL battle that’ll be taking place on site at the event,  and this position entails you encouraging people to vote for the final comic and video game. If you’re an information geek who likes to poll people, then this is your chance to shine!

This position is well suited for geeks who are more extroverted in nature and who have fun working with the public.

Roles and Responsibilities

Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Encouraging patrons to vote for who should win in the final battle.
• Ensuring the booth is kept tidy and organized.
• Counting all the ballots at the end of the weekend to see how many votes we had.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Enjoy working with the public.
• Have excellent communication skills.

Preference will be given to bilingual applicants.
