About Us
The Ottawa Geek Market is Ottawa’s premiere festival of all things geeky. As a festival, the Geek Market provides an opportunity for patrons to celebrate their favourite geeky fandoms though shopping, entertainment, video and board gaming, and family-friendly activities such as scavenger hunts, crafts, and cosplay (wearing costumes). With a focus on sci-fi, fantasy, comics, anime, steampunk, horror and gaming, there’s bound to be something for every geek in your life when you attend a Geek Market event. We host a number of vendors that sell all sorts of wonderfully geeky items including games, comics, art, jewellery, toys, movies and more.
We kindly ask that everyone attending refrain from wearing fragranced products such as perfume, cologne, aftershave, body spray, etc. Some members on the organizing committee and some of our attendees are sensitive or allergic to fragrances.
Our Next Event
Our next event will be taking place on September 30-October 1, 2017 in the Curling Rink and Capones Ballroom at the Nepean Sportsplex. The event’s theme is ‘Sci-fi vs Fantasy’ and is being run in support of The Royal Mental Health Centre. Tickets start at $6 per day.
