Have you ever wondered what we do with the money we raise at our events? Since we often get questions about this, we thought it’d be helpful to create a whole webpage devoted to information about our charitable giving.

It’s important to us to be transparent and show just how amazing our geeky community is. We couldn’t have done any of this without YOUR support. So thank you!

What do we do with the rest of the money we collect from our exhibitors and patrons? Well, we run our events to break even, so if there IS anything left over after paying all our bills (facility rental, permits, insurance, etc.) that money goes directly to helping fund our next event. We are a volunteer-run organization, so other than a couple contractors (e.g. our AV guy), and the gift vouchers we offer to ALL our volunteers, we don’t get paid. Now you know.
