February 18, 2017 (9:00 am to 3:00 pm)
Nepean Sportsplex, Halls A&B
We’re hosting our 4th Geek and Gaming Garage Sale this coming February where you’ll be able to buy or sell all sorts of geek and gaming-related items at this one-day shopping event, hooray! Over 2,100 patrons attended our last two garage sales so this event promises to be amazing.
This will also be a great time to purchase your tickets for our spring Geek Market! Buying tickets in advance saves you money! And if you buy your ticket to the spring Geek Market, you’ll get a free button!
We’re proudly supporting Tysen’s Mission to a Million once again and they’ll have a booth were you can donate money to his very worthy cause.
Selling geek or gaming items on consignment
Have a few items to sell, but don’t want to man your own table? No problemo! We’ll be accepting all sorts of items related to geekery and gaming on consignment at a rate of 15% meaning that we’ll do the work for you! All of the money raised will be used to pay for the logistical costs associated with running the garage sale (i.e. hall rental, advertising, etc.).
Want more details? Please visit our new webpage that provides information on how sell items on consignment at our garage sale.
Selling geeky or gaming items at your own table
Do you have so many geeky or gaming items to sell that you’d like to purchase and manage your own table? Awesome! We’ll be accepting applications for tables in the coming months.
Please note that this IS a garage sale so patrons will be looking for garage sale-type deals. This event is not meant for exhibitors selling new/original art at full price. If you have new/handmade items that you’re looking to sell at full price, we encourage you to apply to be a vendor at the Ottawa Geek Market spring event.
Each table space costs $50 and measures 6 feet deep x 8 feet wide and comes with:
- Two exhibitor passes
- One 6 feet x 2.5 feet unskirted table
- Two chairs
Please note that we have a limited number of tables available and will be accepting vendors on a first come, first serve basis.
